Well, Zynga games got it right with this one because I’m totally addicted to FarmVille! I don’t know about you but that guitar toon is super catchy and I love the cute pig, sheep and other animals. Playing FarmVille is the way I like to spend my free time.

Honestly though, the game wasn’t always so much fun. In the beginning I hadn’t a clue as to what to plant or how, ran out of coin, lost my corps to rot and on and on. Actually, it makes my stomach tight even to talk about those times. I decided to give the game a break for a while because the game (that’s supposed to be fun) was stressing me out.

Well, I kept going back to FarmVille and saw that my friends were still slowly leveling up and leaving me behind. I found some articles on Google on FarmVille strategy and tips and got back in the game. I found that there’s a way you can speed up the entire crop process by boxing your farmer in the center of the screen. You can use hay bales or fences to keep your farmer in place while you plant, plow, or harvest your crops. The beauty of this method is that you don’t have to wait for the farmer to walk across the field. NOTE: it’s important that you box your farmer in in the SAME plot of land that he/ she is standing in when you open up FarmVille.

Another tip that really helped me is to increase the size of my farm as fast as possible. Obviously, if you can plant more plots you can reap bigger harvests, earn more coin, and most importantly gain XP so that you can level up and get all the cool items… like a Villa (yeah right). You can get a bigger farm by getting a lot of neighbors, spending farm cash that you earn, or using farm cash that you bought with a credit card. I’m not proud to admit that I spent my own money to expand my farm when I came across a strategy guide.

After reading this guide I was kicking myself because you don’t (and shouldn’t) have to bust out your credit card to gain enjoyment from a game that’s supposed to be free. I mean I can understand folks on World of Warcraft paying a monthly fee but they knew that it would cost real money. Anyway, I now realize that I could have utilized the money I spent on farm cash to get this FarmVille game guide.
